Checking off the Bucket List

If you didn't already know Brian is quite the war buff.
So it was a pleasure to take him to Normandy for his bday.
Utah beach is breathtaking, the bomb craters are still there along with the German bunkers.

To see the National Cemetery was humbling and very emotional to say the least. To see brothers buried next to one another and to see that this was not the only 'known but to God' marker.

After our tour we had the pleasure of eating at Poulette in Paris with Crystal and tasting the fine cuisine of none other than her hubby Brendan.

And I also got to have a treat going to a totally awesome Osmond Brothers concert :) check

  1. Normandy looks beautiful! I am jealous, I have always wanted to go there. I saw an article online where they had volunteers trace bodies in the sand all over the beach to represent those who gave their lives there. It was incredible! Um...the Osmonds...awesome!
