Just look at him.......

A little early, but in honor of Father's Day.........

I'm guesstimating the date around March/April 1979 definitely 1979. He was NCO of the Apr-Jun quarter. So Brian was 21 yrs and Dustin was about 10 months old and Mandy was in the oven 3mos :)  That's how old you guys are and that's how young your parents were....

Brian was a firefighter in the Air Force for 4 yrs. Normally he worked 3 days on 4 days off shifts.  But after Dustin was born he put in a request to work at the 'tech services' shop where they serviced all the fire extinguishers & alarms on the base. It was an 8-4 job, so he could be home more.  After his boss, (a higher ranking, older man), got transferred no one was brought in to replace him so Daddy took over and when the big boss (Capt or Major) found him working the shop on his own, a lowly staff sargent, he was quite impressed and so.......I think that's how he got NCO of the quarter....and they begged him to stay when he was leaving to finish his college at BYU.

Anyway just a little family history that shows why I married this extraordinary guy.  Hard working, organized and just all around impressive.......just look at him :)

Paris in London?

Paris had a proper good time in London
she rode a double decker bus over Tower Bridge
Had a great view of the whole place from the London Eye
wasn't impressed with the Tower guard

climbed so many spiral staircases thru so many castles

Made friends with the queens royal guard

tried to get the Queen to let me in her palace
heard Big Ben say it was time for lunch
Hung out with her grandkids instead

I thought I saw a puddy tat in Trafalgar square

so we ate with Sherlock, elementary my dear

It was an exhausting day and Pop Pop was lost...
